This event is always held in February, hosted by Mission Bay YC. It is held in conjunction with the Southern California Yachting Association Midwinters which is a very big event in many classes. Victory's were one of several classes racing at MBYC, while other classes race at other yacht clubs in Southern California. Michael Keane mentioned that the Victory class had the biggest turnout of the ocean racing classes which included Lightnings and Solings at MBYC. Despite the Fresno guys not going, this is very good news.
