Pacific Ocean off Point Loma, San Diego
CSC/TPSC 2005 JACK DORSEE CUP OCEAN RACETen Victories, from three clubs, participated in the Jack Dorsee Ocean Race held off of Coronado on Saturday, 24 September 2005. John Henke from MBYC, sailing Victory 383, took the trophy this year. This was a closely competed seven-mile course with eight of the boats finishing within about four minutes of each other after nearly two hours of racing. CSC was the host this year and our thanks go to Bob Coburn, Bruce Guinen, Jack Prior, and John Zenari who donated their full Saturday for course setup, towing, and race committee work. |
